Organic BAQ Henna Powder

100 grams of finely sifted (5x in fact) Organic BAQ Rajasthani Henna Powder, perfect for body art and hair color as well.

The henna plants were harvested in late November 2024 in Rajasthan, and will be good until 12 months after opening the bag. Keep your henna in a cool, dark, dry place to preserve the quality.

If you're curious about using henna as a hair dye please understand that this is not the same product you get in stores labelled "henna hair dye." This is simply henna powder. By mixing it with water or black tea, you will create the henna paste which you can then apply onto hair, which has been done for centuries to strengthen hair. Plain yogurt and aloe vera has also been added into henna paste for conditioning qualities.

Please note: hair which has been dyed synthetically before, may not take the color of natural henna very well; it works best on virgin hair. Henna will dye blonde hair into a burnt orange red color which will get darker with several applications. Henna will dye light brown hair into an auburn color, and for black hair it will give it a reddish hue. It is good practice to condition the hair with unrefined or natural oils after rinsing, as many applications of natural henna will start giving hair a thick rough texture if you have not conditioned properly. Natural Henna only stains in reddish hues, so anything that stains black or otherwise is not 100% natural henna.
